Information usage

We feel that the biggest issue with using the Internet at the moment is about the amount of personal information that people place about themselves online.

The problem

• People are placing more information about themselves online
• Organisations can access this data more easily
• Organisations can use this information for advertising purposes

The solution

• Make people more aware of how their personal data can be used
• Ensure that people know if there personal information will be used for other purposes that they are not aware of

Who should fix this

• Organisations should do this but difficult as it mightn't be in their interests
